34: New Date Separators, New User Email Invites, UX improvements and Bug fixes

New Features:

  • Email Notifications for New Users: Newly successfully added users will now receive emails to reset their password.

  • Enhanced Conversation Transcript Options: You can now see options to send transcripts or discard channel conversations. Both options are available when clicking the release conversation button from all channels except Text Campaigns.

  • User Deactivation Management: Admins can now deactivate users without deleting their data. Deactivated users cannot log in or appear in the main active list but remain discoverable through filtered views for reactivation or audit purposes.

  • Conversation thread date separators: You can now see the date separations when a conversation spans across different days, within the same channel.

    • Updated the conversation log last message received time to show the day if it’s been 24hrs +

Improvements:

  • Improved Team Management Display: Enhanced user team display on the listing page to prevent table cluttering. When users belong to multiple teams, the system shows the number of tags that fit in the column width and uses a counter tag (+N) to indicate overflow. Hovering over the +N tag displays all additional team names.

  • Conversation Management Improvements

    • Ensure conversations only have one assigned user when another user joins

    • Real-time removal of conversations from previous agents

    • Immediate conversation removal from current user's active conversations

    • Visual cue for conversations in transfer state

Bug Fixes:

  • LiveChat Configuration:

    • Fixed unexpected error notifications that appeared when navigating to LiveChat Configuration for clients without LiveChat setup.

    • You can now discard changes and all the changes from the last saved state will be cleared.

  • Profile Update Issues: Fixed issue where updating agent profiles, especially client agents, incorrectly added records to clientsToAnswerFor field.

  • Email and Date Corrections

    • Fixed incorrect dates in chat transcript email subject lines

    • Corrected user team display inconsistencies between listing page and editing forms

    • Fixed email validation to trigger in real-time with inline error messages

Message and Conversation Fixes

  • Fixed inaccurate unread message counters in conversation logs

  • Resolved persistent agent typed messages across conversations (messages now remain as drafts)

  • Fixed empty logo state handling when users edit client information

Technical Improvements

  • Ensured all newly created clients have LiveChat embed codes

  • Addressed dispositions data permissions issues

  • Fixed super admin credential mismatches for specific accounts
